EASTCOMBE PRIMARY SCHOOL: "BUILDING A FIRM FOUNDATION FOR ADULTS OF THE FUTURE"        Congratulations to Dominic, Eva, Georgia, Hero, Leia and Olivia who sang solos at the Cheltenham Festival!

Welcome to Eastcombe Primary School

Eastcombe Primary school is a small, rural school of 70 pupils, situated in the Cotswold Hills.

Pupils come from Eastcombe and neighbouring villages.    When pupils leave at 11, they move predominantly to Thomas Keble Secondary School; some pupils take the entrance test and go to Stroud High School, Marling or Pates Grammar School.

We feel that we have much to offer our pupils not only academically but also in preparing them physically and socially for the future.

We have the  'Healthy School Plus' award and also have the sports 'Active Mark' , the full International Award and the national Gold 'Sing Up' award.

Each year, KS2 pupils take part in the Cheltenham Festival of performing arts - singing and speaking as soloists and in groups- while Yr 5 & 6 pupils go away for an outdoor & adventurous residential week each autumn.

We have themed activity weeks, when the whole school comes together in mixed age groups.  We join other schools in sporting competition (tag rugby, athletics, football, cross country running) and make the most of the beautiful countryside around us by getting out and about whenever we can.
